이탈리아 토스카나 지방의 와이너리인 아르지아노의 솔렝고. 아르지아노 역시 그라빠도 만들고 올리브 오일도 만든다. 르네상스 시대에 설립된 나름 유서 깊은 곳. 1500년대부터 와인을 만들었고 1934년부터 국제적인 상을 받는 등 한 마디로 유서 깊은 곳. ㅋㅋ

몬탈치노 지역의 작은 중세 마을에 위치해 있고, 48 헥타르의 포도밭은 예전에는 모두 바다에 잠겨 있었기 때문에 토양에 미네랄이 풍부하다. 

솔렝고는 토스카나 와인이지만 산지오베제 품종을 쓴 건 아니고 40% 카베르네 소비뇽, 35% 메를로, 25% 쉬라를 블렌딩. 수확한 포도는 품종 별로 따로 2주 정도 숙성시킨 뒤 새 프랑스 오크통에서 블렌딩해 15개월 가량 숙성시킨다. 로버트 파커가 95점을 준 (달고 진한...) 맛좋은 와인. 수령 12~15년 정도 된 나무의 포도로 만든다.
