I love the implication in OPLA, during Usopp's fight against Miss Goldenweek, that Pippi Longstocking is a known character in the One Piece universe.
Pippi is the Luffy of my childhood so it checks out. The Pippi Pirates are now canon.
Just learned the TV network Qubo stopped airing in 2021… that was one of the really good channels I had as a kid, right next to PBS. Was for a slightly older audience, but still educational from what I recall! Also intrigued with who had the idea to replace the 5-14 age range channel with preschooler aimed channels?? I dunno, I’m sad to learn so late that the channel is gone :,( Some of the shows even had good morals and lessons, as well as style diversity
