saw a post that was like "let female characters be shitty people!!" in reference to a specific character and the example of the character's shittiness? she was a little bit selfish in a couple of scenes when she was a child.
#like ok.. sure i agree with the sentiment...#lets have diverse and complex female characters that dont get held to insane moral standards that male characters arent#or at least are not wholesale condemned and can still be enjoyed the way shitty male characters sre#are**#and suchlike#but is the bar for “shitty person” really so low???#surely not
