Ahhhh I built a song shrine in my Minecraft world :) Apologies for my super high fov and peculiar screenshot taking skills but I really liked how this turned out!

-enter tournament grounds

-start crying bc you KNOW this place

-go to great war nestoria

-sit on THE pier and pretend everything isn't burning down around you

-feel every bit of grief and every memory tied to this place individually

-go to the ardoni cemetery

-start crying again for the people buried there

Truly an experience like no other. I walked the whole way too, to immerse myself. Ardonia really is such a vast land. It feels like a second home to me, thats just how familiar it is. I know everything about it and nothing about it. I know all the memories every location holds. I can feel the emotions emanating from the ground.

Just once I'd like to lie on my back in the middle of the tournament grounds, on the slightly damp grass, and stare up at the stars.

The Felina gang (Masani, Yujuki, Nitsuke, and Niika, + Kiyoshi can tag along he's one of the girls)

Masani: shooting (ik she's an archer but she'd like guns trust me)

Yujuki: hockey

Niika: artistic gymnastics

Kiyoshi: rowing

Nitsuke: archery

Achillean and Ingressus

Marathon swimming! Achillean swam a LOT as a kid (inspired by a hc by @blackfeather-raven) and the Nestoris named him Tidesinger when he won the gold in a year where weather made the waters more difficult than usual. As for Ingressus' epithet, two people who had consistently scored just above him in previous years passed away right before they were set to compete, allowing him to easily score silver. He hates the name Deathsinger, but it stuck. The two have a lighthearted rivalry.

Mendoris

Galadar, Hadion, and Val are gymnasts. Idc about gender we don't have enough characters for that

Sendaris

Osivian seems like a curling guy. just a vibe. Ria has track and field energy, specifically pole vaulting. Thalleous isn't interested in sports he just reminisces uncomfortably about how back in the day this was a tournament to pick the strongest Ardoni to go commit genocide,,, Galleous seems like a rower he can go with Kiyoshi

Sendaris, said by David one of the writers of SoW, tends to live near water. So I like to think that they have webbed hands & feet.

Nestoris

The establishing shot showing all the ardoni clans, Nestoria is shown to have cliffs and I like to think it's also pretty high. So I like to associate them with birds, Eagle spcifically. They have feathers on their head and by their ears. The ones on their ears are normally given by loved ones. And the ones on their head are given by the masters upon being inaugurated into the clan.

Voltaris

I headcanon that the Voltaris are ancestors of some nether species- idk what one I want to make them an ancestors of tho. And that they have goat-like hooved feet since the nether is based on Hell and goats are associated with Saten. It also fits that for a good few 100 years they lived on a mounted.

Kaltaris

I headcanon for Kaltaris that they have better hearing and smell than the other ardoni, and are more attuned with nature than the ardoni already are. They also have claw-like toes to help with traction.
