She tastes like heaven. Like a thousand different caresses under a thousand different skies. Like dreams and hopes and all the wishes Iâve ever had. But what terrifies me most is that she tastes like every forever Iâve ever ached for.

A Little Too Haunted by Justine Pucella Winans
The only thing worse than having ghost hunters for parents is having fake ghost hunters for parents. Luna Catalano would know. Her moms are haunted house flippers who use their home reno skills and pretend psychic powers to turn spooky old houses into ghost-free modern homes. Not only does their job require the family to move all theâŚ
... ah. that face. she could never forget that face. but she knew where deliverance, the one she was mistaking this man for, was ; she remembered seeing his look as she walked away from the pods, could feel his gaze until she turned the corner. he could not be kevin. and yet, when gold met his gaze, a small smile pulled at her lips. âhello, my friend. is there anything i can help you?â was he drawn by her song? did he... recognize it?  // @architectiâ

43. What is the biggest risk youâve taken just to prove yourself?
"Let's just say that while I don't want to be in the Fatui, that doesn't mean I want to be thrown away like dross and rubbish. For that end, I'll do whatever it takes to make sure that even if I'm annoying, I'm still a danger to dispose of just for the sake of it. So if I have to burn down temples, kill any friends I could have had, destroy people and lives even when they don't deserve it and no one even told me to - well, all in a day's job, I guess."
"...Would you not say that dying to live, sacrificing a possible future for an uncertain second chance, would count as a great risk to take? For the leylines, at least, such determination defined my worthiness to them."
52. Whatâs the worst habit you have that rewards you the most?
"Even if people say being a troublemaker does nothing for me, I'd say it does plenty! After all, it wrecks most of the Fatui's plans and throws their reputation even further in the gutter. Which, if you ask me, is what at least half of us deserve.
"I know some of us are... well, they're decent people, and they're just trying to get by for whatever reason. But the rest! The rest deserve nothing but hell, so me being a respectable leader and a good Harbinger, I am just giving them their just desserts. By ruining their day. We don't deserve a nice day if we can completely excuse the stuff we do as Fatui."
"I have been told many a time that my neutrality and passivity to the world is... well, it is not a great virtue, if unacceptable to some. And I do see their perspective on the matter - for I, with the potential for instigating fires and change, could do so much for the world, yet choose not to.
"But this does not take into account my duty - my true desire. I am not the last person to wish for a better world or a better conclusion. In fact, I pray for it with all my being. But, prayers are but prayers, and there must be some consideration made for a world that ends in ash, a conclusion that ends in tragedy. And for such things, I must be there. I must be alive, well and standing, to comb the ruins for the lost, to remember the ending for the next to come.
"I cannot burn my life's candle by involving myself, for I am the last resort - the final, meagre solace in the event of failure."
57. How do you cope with being betrayed?
"There's a high price for betraying me in any way - and it comes with interest."
"...I would not appreciate it, but I shall endeavor to understand. After all, betrayal is not always the easiest choice to make. For most, I would like to believe their hand was forced... And if not, even then, I shall try to understand. And make my own amends."
67. What is one thing people always get wrong about you?
"When will people shut up about that theory that I'm related to the Tsaritsa. Where the hell did it even come from, and why does everyone in the Fatui still gossip about it? I just don't understand why that rumor is still around!"
"People have a tendency to be wary of me, at first meeting, or even before our first meeting. It is an understandable matter - the Abyss is a strange place that mandates constant caution, and for me, a person to have been a resident long before anyone can even remember... Well, who would not be wary, if not concerned about such a character?
"Though I do wish those strange stories about me 'eating hearts' and being a rather cruel, eldritch figure would stop circulating... I do not wish to be feared. And more importantly, I do not want my reputation to prevent people from seeking out my aid, if they think they might need it."
"youâre just as lonely as i am. might as well be lonely together."

In a sense, she feels both guilt and happiness. A guilt in a sense that she was too afraid to send those invitations at the very end and happiness because she could be here at this very moment with someone she cares about. Elysia would bring her knees to her chest, wrapping her arms around them and placing her chin down. She hums at his words, but doesnât yet look at him. Kavehâs words make the memories of the past come back, but not the past where he as he is now would think of. A moment where she hugged Eden and saw her in all her golden beauty, a moment where Aponia appeared dressed gorgeously and saying sheâll remember her, a moment where Vil-V would smile sheepishly and promise to change history for her, a moment where she last danced with Kevin as he accepted her gentle plea for one last moment of happiness.Â
Is Kaveh still as lonely as he was forced to be in the last life as Kevin? It hurts her, it genuinely does. Her honest wish for them has always been their happiness. She wished for Flamechasers to reach a beautiful end and live a good life after their tough fight. They all deserved a life as beautiful as the stars in the sky, the moon, the aurora borealis. Itâs why she feels her hold around her knees tighten as she presses her lips together, bothered just enough to let it be shown for a moment before a smile returns to her feminine face.Â
â Haha, I am not lonely if you are here with me, Kaveh, â she isnât lying as she smiles at him then. The four people who had seen her depart have told her that she became a human, a flawless human - Elysia. It was now that she regretted not seeing everyone one last time, but such was the past. Right now, she can watch over those she cares about in a new light as new people whenever she meets them. This is why sitting next to Kaveh, learning more about him, becoming friends with him, spending time with him? Itâs all treasures sheâs ever wanted. Is it not human to wish to be close to those you consider close and important? Is it not human to wish to see those people smile? â Would me company make you less lonely? Hehe, I didnât think youâd notice I was away~ I was just thinking to myself. The horizon looks very beautiful from here. â
The night is coming and the stars will be appearing soon. Would Kaveh remain here until the latest hours with her or will he leave? If she were honest, she wanted him to stay just for a bit longer. Elysia wanted for his company to stay, to remind her that she was still here and it was reality. It wasnât a dream, right? Sometimes, she still thought it was a dream. It scared her, partially. Â
â I feel more at ease with you here. â
What a genuine whisper. A reminder that she feels safe in his company, in his presence, close by his side. No matter what life they lived, she knew that she could trust Kevin and Kaveh alike. A soul so noble and beautiful, no matter who he was now, Elysia found herself at ease, feeling the tension leave her body.Â
