Archie Nathan’s 1960 book 𝑪𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒖𝒎𝒆𝒔 𝒃𝒚 𝑵𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 notes that the armor that Jean Seberg wears in the 1957 film 𝑺𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑱𝒐𝒂𝒏 for the role of Joan of Arc was originally made for Ellaline Terriss’ portrayal of Joan of Arc in the 1911 play 𝑺𝒕.
