Skyhold – it came to them with the break of dawn, a place for the Inquisition to rebuild in the wake of an attack. To many within its walls, Skyhold is synonymous with hope, but it’s still early days – a fortress in the midst of construction, so much of its potential still untapped. He isn’t sure what to think of it yet, a place so perfectly suited to their needs, already a sort of pilgrimage to the faithful, but he agrees with the champion on one thing:
“It is, isn’t it?”
The Frostbacks are magnificent – so large in scale that it’s overwhelming, and when the sun hits the clouds in the right way, it casts a glow of warm light across it all, glistening snow on a perfect sort of day. It has been terribly rare for the newly declared Inquisitor to seem at peace this last month, so the feeling doesn’t sit easily with him. But here, with Hawke, he feels like he can breathe. It helps that the mountain air is so cool and refreshing.Â
“I don’t really know what will happen now. But this is as good a place as any for the Inquisition to rebuild. And between you and me, I doubt anyone trying to attack us will get a grasp of the layout when I barely know where I’m going,”

Exploring Lowtown in shoddy robes and weatherworn clothing made it easier to navigate Kirkwall as opposed to try standing out. Their disguise as a Chantry acolyte simply wasn't feasible. But, as another street urchin like so many others? It was like being a ghost in a graveyard, especially for a bounty that would entail the capture of a highwayman that had evaded capture for years. The coin would sustain them for weeks, surely--
"Ah... you're not after him, too, are you?"
