Ok so I’m on my 4th Elden Ring playthrough (I wanted to do a playthrough of arcane since my last was int) for my DLC Save File, and I have some more thoughts that I wanted to share already!

Man The Regalia of Eochaid is SO FUCKING COOL. Like seeing it so many times in my first few playing was frustrating because of how cool it was, but holy shit its Art is so cool, can’t wait for the Marais Sword!
I’m starting to realize that Arcane isn’t just Blood stuff, but it’s basically anything outside of the Fingers, Magic, Glinstone, everything. Like the Albinaurics, the Clayfolks, and the Eochaid Enchantments you find. And I really like it because to me it’s Fromsoft going, “Ok so we’ve had weird stuff in our games before, but never had a way to have new methods of using it, like the Abyss stuff in Dark Souls, so let’s just make a new stat for it so that we can enable more build variety”
The more I play the more I think we’re going to speak to Godwyn in the DLC and if it’s present Godwyn he will immediately recognize us. Because I just keep seeing his fucking eyes all over the place in some dungeons, so if he’s basically just infected the Erdtree and its roots then he’s basically as Omniscient as it, but with the only influence he has taking the form of Deathroot
Speaking of Godwyn, I’m starting to believe more and more that what happened to him is essentially that his body is mutating in a manner related to the Crucible. I say this because the Crucible basically had a mash up of nearly all creatures, and beings affected by it get body parts of different creatures(See: Morgott and Mohg), and it would also bring a sense of unity with Godwyn and his family as all of them have body parts of creatures attached to them, with Godfrey attaching Serosh to himself, Godrick attaching a dragon to his arm, Mohg with wings, Morgott with a tail, and Godwyn with All of whatever he’s got going on, and their unified connection the The Crucible
