Arcadian script, revised.
My first constructed script, redone a… third time? Fourth? It's been a long time since I sketched out a funny-looking English cipher in middle school, which would later be dubbed Arcane and become the basis for a perpetually unfinished conlang — and a pillar of a larger, also perpetually unfinished fantasy setting. A lot has changed since then, but this one still has significance to me and I wanted to give it the care it deserves. Keep some old, bring in some new.
My old conlanging notes meant I already had some material to work with, but my primary goal was to give the script more of its own identity: a new name (currently undecided), and a "history" to draw from with multiple written forms and some idiosyncrasies here and there to make it feel more natural. There's still work to be done, but I'm quite happy with the results:
