Does Scadrial have a math system that's not base 10?
I'm looking at chapter headings in The Alloy of Law.
The metallic (?) symbols for the numbers stay at single digit for numbers 1 through 16.
The numbers greater than 16 seem to be written as 16 1 for 17, 16 2 for 18, and so on. (Rather than 10 7, 10 8, etc.)

Numbers in The Alloy of Law
(which may or may not be actually significant)
Elendel is divided into 8 wards. There are 8 octants and 8 waterways (river and canals).
Wax is the 16th lord of House Ladrian.
Wax's mansion is 16 Ladrian Place.
Wax lives in 4th Octant of Elendel.
Pathian symbol has 10 interlocking rings.
Pathian prayer lasts 15 minutes.
Miles spent 15 years keeping law in the Roughs.
Wax spent 20 years away from Elendel.
Lift insists she is only 10 years old, does not want to get older, anything bigger than 10 is unlucky, etc.
Consider: 10 is a number of significance on Roshar. But in the wider Cosmere, 16 is the number of significance.
So maybe Lift will grow up until she's 16 and then stay like that?
