Some smaller friends.
The tiny checkerspot in the last photo came and landed on me after that picture, hung out on my camera bag strap as I was walking around for the next 10 minutes haha.

Arabesque orbweaver :D very pretty orange color
@amultitudeofsins submitted: Any idea who this lil guy is? East Texas
Looks like a male orbweaver but I'm not positive on species. Maybe an arabesque orbweaver, Neoscona arabesca.
Arabesque Orbweaver
This is the time when orb weavers are at their peak. The distinctively-marked Arabesque Orbweaver is one of the many different species to be observed.
Arabesque Orbweaver in a leaf along the nature trail!

Annoying an arabesque orbweaver
7-Legged Arabesque Orbweaver? Neoscona arabesca
San Antonio, Texas, United States, 2015
Anonymous submitted: Hi 💗 Please remove my location. I think this is a shamrock orbweaver? I live in [removed] and this little fella showed up on my back porch after some rain. He's so cute that even my brother, who's terrified of spiders, has been enjoying looking at him :)
Love that your brother admires them too! Doesn't look like a shamrock orbweaver, though. they have spots on their abdomen. This one looks like an arabesque orbweaver :)
