Peering up to the perpetrator standing in a fountain, Hao's eyes slightly narrowed. "You ought to be more careful. You could get someone sick with antics like that…"

Interesting. This man... He reminded him of some of the fishermen he’d encountered during his walking along the mortal’s land. To him, that indicated far from a foe; most of the seadwellers tended to be closest to the gods, after all, as they knew of the awesome power of the unknown.

Callie couldn’t transform into a squid for as long as she liked here and not being in Inkopolis meant her music career had been shot at it’s peak. But this wonderfully crafted sundae with rivers of chocolate, mountains of fluffy whipped cream and its ( now dwindling ) population of cherries and peanuts was almost convincing enough to for her to change this temporary kidnapping into a permanent stay. Although she was missing her terribly, the inkling was glad Marie wasn’t here to catch her traitorous thoughts. But she couldn’t be the only one who would think this after taking the most delicious bite in the universe, right?
“... Hey! Hey you there, the cutie with the great smile!” With an enthusiastic wave and a grin, she waved at the silver haired stranger while nearly jumping out of her seat.
“You gotta let minnow what you think of this dish. And be honest, I can smell a lie from a mile away!”

[ ✠ ] - woe betide any who found themselves dealing with such an accursed contraption as reiner was now. though some others in the establishment found little effort in maneuvering the lever on the machine reiner stood in front of, he found it difficult to utilize the lever to its’ full potential. not to mention the unusually coloured buttons on the machine, which seemed to serve some sort of purpose, yet none that he could discern at the time. it was likely connected to the lever, but how...?
“hey, you.” reiner called out to a nearby patron in the hopes of perhaps being educated on the intricacies of this contraption. “how do i work this thing? i’ve tried pulling the lever and pressing the buttons, but it does nothing of value.”
