OKAY, SO I'VE BEEN THINKING ABOUT THESE TWO A LOT AND I HAVE A LOT OF IDEAS/FEELS, SO IDK HOW THIS IS GOING TO COME OUT?? But let me know if it's confusing at all bc I'm thinking faster than I type. OK

So, this is Sarah Linden. She's a homicide detective and she's seen a lot of horrible things. She's kinda like Will Graham in that she has a strong sense of empathy towards the victims (vs the murderers) of the crimes and can kinda get inside their heads. And she's kinda obsessive about her cases and a total workaholic and just kinda gets completely emerged in them and doesn't eat or sleep. Anyway, she had this one case that completely consumed her and she actually spent a short time in a mental ward b/c of it. Anyway, I thinking that maybe Alana is her psychiatrist?? And she has to see her every week or whatever and get Alana's approval that she's not unstable and has to go back to the mental hospital??

Now that I've caught up with OUaT, my ~plan is to watch Hannibal next (we'll see bc it'll partially rely on whether or not my fam wants to see it tbh) so HOPEFULLY I'll watch it soon!!!!  Anyway, I have Hulu Plus, so I'll check if it's on there (I think it is), but if you, are you still willing to give help me out in that?  I'D SO APPRECIATE IT!!!!  I'll def keep you posted, either way.  :DDDD

Hi. So, sorry for the disappearing act this week. I'm still pretty sick and so sleep and such has mostly been consuming my time. And I had a paper and such due and a French event to attend. So yes. Sorry about getting a bit behind again. But hopefully I'll be catching up here soon. Though probably this weekend since tomorrow is Halloween and SCARY MOVIE NIGHT YESSSSS.

So, yeah. Just a heads up that I will probably be a little slow for this week. Or for the rest of this week. BUT I LOVE YOU ALL. AND THIS ROLEPLAY. AND YES.

Jack had always tried to do the right thing, but somehow he ended up pushing away the people he loved; the people he tried to help. Whether it was his father, who was now off god-knows-where, or his ex-wife, or any relationship he had tried to have since then: it always ended up broken. Even too broken for even someone like Jack to try to repair the pieces. And he was alone. Not that he had too much time to reflect on this. With each failure in his personal life, he strove for one more success in his professional career. He wasn't a big believer of miracles (even if he had seen a few in his day), but if there was even the slightest chance, Jack Shephard would not give up on a patient. 

Today, however, was a rarity. A day off amongst the endless 14+ hour shifts that he often had at the hospital and, frankly, he was unsure what to do with himself. After a power sleep that put him waking up around two in the afternoon. After showering and dressing, he strolled down to the dinner which was nearly empty at this hour, even on a sleepy Sunday afternoon when people were slow. 

He picked a booth in the back, by the window, and worked on the New York Times Crossword puzzle while he waited for his sandwich. He looked up as the bell chimed on the door and in walked Alana Bloom. It wasn't that strange, he realized, to see her there. The two of them would often go there all the time when they were dating because of the good, cheap food and the 24/7 service. Still, he hadn't been prepared for it. 

When they made eye contact, he smiled and gave something of a wave. She was seated at a table not far from him and after the waitress had taken her drink order, he said, "You meeting someone? If not, you're more than welcome," He added, gesturing to the empty seat across from him, "There's no point in us eating separately together," He said, with something of a smile. Although, he wondered if this was a good idea. His heart still raced when he saw her and he couldn't help but think of all the good times (as well as the bad) when she was around. There wasn't much time to dwell on what was and what could have been in his daily routine that didn't leave time for him to remember to eat, let alone think about his complicated relationships, so seeing her always brought back a flood of emotions.
