#apprentice kimoni

I’ve been wanting to post these for so long, and I only just got done editing Panya’s, so here they are!

Maggie-

Overall, I’m really happy with hers. I didn’t have to do much editing other than the eyes and freckles (and also the smile because the “happy” gene in artbreeder is terrifying)

Panya-

Panya’s is highkey one of my favorites. The hair was difficult and I had to mess about with her skin tone a bit, but I’m so happy with how it came out (especially the eyes im super proud of those)

Sidenote: Panya's looks super weird on mobile for some reason. might go edit it again later

Kimoni-

Day two of Kimoni week and he gets to show off his powers!! Also I'm a sucker for the glowing eyes and floating hair trope. I loved messing around with the rim lighting and the background and I am immensely proud of this.

Aillu is his familiar, and her name is based on the Inuktitut word for “home”, but her name actually means “without a home”. Kimoni met her during the first few months of his exile, and she would bring him food every so often. She’s very motherly and a bit overprotective of him, but she has good intentions.

Kimoni is really close with the Devoraks, beyond romancing Julian (or Portia, depending on timeline/au). He and Portia often spend time at her cottage, drinking tea and discussing their favorite books and just generally having a very sweet and wholesome time.

He's also good friends with Mazelinka, and they'll get together every now and then to gossip, sometimes about regular goings-on in the city, always sometimes about Julian. They love exchanging funny stories about him, and they usually end up finishing each other's sentences because they know him too well not to.

Top left is Jovie, Lucio and Maggie’s kid, the other two don’t have names yet but top right is Kimoni x Julian and bottom is Asra x Panya x Muriel (he’s adopted)

These aren’t the actual colors I had in mind, but I got lazy and wanted to get it out there since I havent posted any art in a while, so here.

I was actually really invested in the art side of mlp as a kid, and i loved messing about with different bases (yes, i was a base user) and seeing what I could do with them. This challenge (is it a challenge? idfk) made me really nostalgic, and I had a ton of fun coming up with breeds and designs for my three.
