Indulge in the flavors of a classic apple fritter with this vegan BBQ Apple Pie Bread. Perfectly moist and spiced, this bread is ideal for a barbecue dessert that will impress both vegans and non-vegans alike.
Ingredients: 4 cups of all-purpose flour. 1 cup of granulated sugar. 1 tablespoon of baking powder. 1 teaspoon of baking soda. 1/2 teaspoon of salt. 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg. 1 cup of unsweetened applesauce. 1/2 cup of vegetable oil. 1/2 cup of almond milk. 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. 2 cups of finely chopped apples peeled and cored.
Instructions: Get your grill ready for medium heat. Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a large bowl using a whisk. The dry ingredients should be mixed with applesauce, vegetable oil, almond milk, and vanilla extract. Don't mix any further than that. Add the chopped apples and mix them in until they are spread out evenly in the batter. Use butter and flour to grease and flour a bread pan. Put the bread pan on the grill that has already been heated up. Stick a toothpick into the middle and remove it clean after 45 to 50 minutes. Then, put the lid back on top and bake. Take the bread off the grill and set it in the pan to cool for 10 minutes. After that, move the bread to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut your vegan BBQ apple pie bread into slices and serve it! No need to: For extra sweetness, sprinkle with powdered sugar or frost with a vegan caramel sauce.
