Applespeck is Birchfall's affair partner. They initially met and became friends while they were kits on the Great Journey, and they reconnected when they both were training in the Dark Forest. Applespeck official mate was Smoulderfoot, who found out the truth around the same time Whitewing did, and broke up with her. She dies in the Great Battle like in canon, and her kits, Seedkit and Lilykit, are sent to live with their father in ThunderClan.
