6. What’s your least favorite thing to draw?
Hmmm I guess shoes/feet? I find them difficult because I don’t draw them often, so when I actually have to draw them I really struggle and then I want to avoid them-thus the vicious cycle continues 😂 I’ve been meaning to do some anatomy/shoe studies to help me with this though, so I’m hoping to improve in that area!
12. Is it okay for people to ask about your process?
Yes of course! I love giving insight into my work/process 🙌 If anyone is interested in process vids, I post a good amount over on Tiktok, and I livestream on my Instagram from time to time if anyone wants to see my process in real time!
18. What are you currently trying to improve on?
Backgrounds!! Both environments and cityscapes-I often default to a white void or gradient background, so I really want to study and level up my environment game 😤 🙏
24. Do you feel jealous when you see other peoples art, or inspired? (Be honest!)
Inspired! I used to get more jealous a couple years back, but this is another instance where I’ve really tried to change my mindset to be more positive 🙏 Now I can look at amazing art and feel energized and inspired to create something myself! (Sometimes jealousy still sets in-I’m only human after all-but I actively try to recognize those feelings and work through them towards a more positive outlook/solution!)
30. What inspires you to not just make art, but to be a better artist?
Ooh a tough question! I’ve always wanted to create as a career, so that’s a goal that really energized me to keep working and improve-I also really enjoy making other people happy with my work? So when I post something and people mention how it brightened their day or made them feel a type of way, I get energized by that too! I’ve also been working on creating things that make myself happy-after all, if I want to do this as a career for the foreseeable future, I don’t want to be stuck doing something that makes me miserable you know? So yea, all of that swirled together pushes me to create and be a better artist! 🙏
