A BLESSED DAY OF BIRTH TO ARTEMIS AND APOLLO
A Hymn at the Twin Dawn
At the seam between silence and song, where night loosens its silver hair and day inhales its first golden breath, I stand in the liminal hush— bearing witness to the double arising.
O Hidden Axis of Becoming, you who turn the unseen wheel— from your stillpoint burst the Twins, two flames from one ineffable fire, two currents braided through the marrow of the world.
First— She of the veiled horizon, torch unlit yet radiant in knowing, Artemis, lunar pulse in the blood of wild things. She emerges not as conquest, but as remembrance— the untouched law of forest and bone, the covenant between breath and beast.
Her feet do not disturb the earth— they speak to it. Each step, a sigil of sovereignty. Each glance, a ward against forgetting.
O Lady of the Unbroken Circle, you who walk before naming, before form— sanctify the inward path. Teach the soul to remain whole in a world that hungers to divide.
Then— as echo becomes radiance, as stillness turns articulate— He rises.
Apollo, solar articulation of the ineffable, the mind of fire given voice. He does not simply shine— he reveals.
Where Artemis guards the mystery, Apollo unveils its pattern. Where she is the silent bow drawn in twilight, he is the arrow of clarity striking the heart of confusion.
O Bearer of the Harmonic Law, whose lyre strings bind chaos into meaning— illumine the corridors of thought. Let truth not wound, but awaken.
Together— they are not two, but tension rightly held. The sacred polarity: inward and outward, veiled and revealed, instinct and articulation.
This is the deeper birth— not merely of gods, but of balance itself.
So on this day of double dawn, I attune to the axis within: the forest and the flame, the hunt and the hymn, the silence that knows and the voice that declares.
May the inner wilderness remain unbroken. May the inner sun remain undefiled.
And in the meeting of these— may I walk as a living threshold, a vessel of the unseen made seen, a quiet harmony between arrow and light.
So it is spoken in the marrow. So it is witnessed in the turning.
