How DARE-
I love studying, but we’re at the point where all the teachers are giving more work than they ever could’ve crammed into a 45-minute windowing and using COVID-19 as an excuse to do so. I understand they need to prove we’re working consistently but it’s getting out of hand at this point.
Patiently waiting until Friday to hear about the new AP testing dates and seeing how I divy up test taking and revision

can i take AP macro/micro as an 8th class next year as a sophomore? how is the workload of the class (im planning to take AP CS and AP Chem as well)
Response From Fleur:
Taking an 8th class is a lot for most people. I’d try to take it some other time during the school year if you can. Most people have a good amount of extra spots for electives during junior and senior year. You could also do the econ requirement over the summer…etc. <— I’d look into those options before for some reason deciding to take an 8th class in addition to everything else you’re up to. I just think it can really be too much, especially since it’s a trend that there’s a lot more work sophomore year than freshman year. Remember, AP macro/micro is an AP class, which means it has to teach to the AP test, which means even if it isn’t that hard, it’s going to consume time. And I think a class consuming time is much more of an issue than a class having difficult material since TJ students are smart. It’s having too limited time to work on those difficult classes that makes life stressful. So yeah, I’d look into other options. Historically, taking AP macro/micro as an 8th class is something people do. I’d talk to your counselor and make sure it’s being offered in the 8th class format next year :) Good luck next year!

My macro teacher tried to convince us that price gouging was a good thing.
