so this is a little scene from a fic im working on about the virus and complications from the dcas perspective. i am excited to share it whenever it decides to be finished 🤨

I know we've been saying this is Sigurd but like,,, what if this isnt? I keep thinking, they showed us Luxord, Strelitzia, Vali and Xehanort, and they're all characters we know the face of. I know we've seen Sigurd before with the hood and the jacket pretty much almost lines up with his design, but that could also maybe be the uniform of his society?

This might be the KHML brainrot talking but what if this is Brain, and he's simply wearing the same uniform because he is/was in the same society as Sigurd in the end?

(Under the cut as to why I think this is a possibility)

Both of them grew up on an Island they wanted to leave to explore the world outside just like Moana did. Sora and his friends even planned to do it by SAILING away. Not to forget that both of them are now seperated from said island

Sora is trying to make his way back home just like Moana is trying to find the way to her destination

OKAY So- I was trying to sleep peacefully after the excitement of the day, when my eyes pinged open in realisation and theory-crafting.

Vanitas return confirmed?! (only half joking)

I've seen other theories that Yozora (and possibly others) are trying to kill/get rid of Keybarers- hence the skull and crossbones on Yozora's jacket- a 'death to Keyblade wielders', because Keybarers are what brings darkness their their realm.

So if that is true, or at least partially, and Keybarers bring darkness to this realm by defining it. Vanitas says to Sora that it's Sora and Ventus who define him. So, Vanitas could return.
