Being aplatonic is saying "I have no friends" but in a neutral and non-judgemental way. There's nothing wrong with not having friends, if that not something that you desire.
Personally, I don't mind when I'm with people or not, it's just that I don't really get close to them (and I don't want to, for that matter).
Being around a group of people, and we're doing that friend group thing, where you hangout, watch movies, talk and make jokes with each other sounded really nice to me in theory, but in reality it was draining. I didn't feel a connection to the people I was with or the things I was doing with them. It felt like an ideal everyone wanted but me.
You don't have to force yourself to feel the same emotions and do the things other people do to fit in- it makes you a twisted version of yourself.
It took me a long time to figure out that I don't experience my platonic relationships the way most others too. But it was a lot more helpful when I didn't judge the part of myself that wanted the friendships others had.
