Truly i am very curious about most ivan ships, as i feel like there isnt a lot to work with when it comes to him and others so it makes playing dolls with him even more fun (I say as someone who ended up shipping him with jeffory in both mys and mcd lmaoo)

Alrighty so its a stretch but its mostly rooted in myt but I could theoretically see mcd.

Ivan is a problem child type character in my head, getting into trouble and acting out for attention (mostly from lucinda) and... i just think laurance is into that.

Laurgene and ivance are the same in my head. Laurance grows up and separates from gene but when they're adults Laurance crushes on Ivan or matches on a dating app or something. Ivan is also stupid (to me he has himbo vibes but without the respecting women so just a full dumbass) and so is garroth.

He's just a dumb "bad boy" asshole that laurance is like "yeah I can make him love me and bonus he'll leave lucinda alone" very into can fix him core.

Spoiler alert it is not a healthy relationship lol

I just like making unhealthy pairings and letting laurance date ivan in the early session having to break up with him bc ivan is an ass and then laurance goes back to him as his ex during starlight.

Over all I think ivan is a man who lacks emotional maturity and self discipline so he doesn't have a job and won't grow as a person. He's a shit. I love to play with men who won't grow up and thats just laurances type.

Garroth and kim is a dynamic I like. Not a ship way, but as friends. Do I think they are a good ship to? Yes but thats not the point of this post.

The same for aaron and garroth.

Or aphmau and zane.

Or really any pairing, because I've noticed something with this fandom. Anytime I post about dynamic its always assumed to be shipping. I saw this a lot with my garkim/kimroth posts.

This fandom has a shipping problem and cant just let people be friends. I think if I tried to explain QPRs to some people in the aphmau fandom they'd cluch their opinionated pearl necklace and gasp like I insulted their dead grandma or something.

Seriously, what's with you all and going "yeah you make a good point but I just cant see them together". Its NOT about romantic relationships. There are so many different dynamics to be had in the real world, and since i think 2020 ish the fandom latch onto polyamory which isn't bad but I dont think some people can see past that or even step back to enjoy the platonic side of things.

I see this a lot when people talk about characters they don't like (especially aaron) talking about how bad he is in the shipping department. Ok- but look at his friendships to and family/family-ish relationship with his friends.

There is more to stories than romantic relationships and ships. If mcd/myst/mt/smp/ any fucking show went no romantic relationships at all id be just as happy as now.

Ive got a new idea in my head. At least for the start of the story.

Its ment to be silly and also dramatic with intense shit thrown in. I'd call it young adult fiction to adult fiction ish. Tbh I'd where to draw the line.
