I have a theory about Aaron lycan which could make you rethink every role play
I noticed Aaron almost dies a lot or sometimes dose die. In mystreet Irene saves him Irene/ dairies aphmau saves him. In dairies he does die. In mermaid tales he has a ton back to back close calls. But one small thing Aaron dose actually die in emerald secret the only things that saved him were Irene who didn't heal him and just started his heart again.
Something we do know is that Aaron is a cursed man no matter what universe and him dying is another curse which is why I believe why mermaid tales is so important is to show this. Mermaid tales Aaron has overstayed his welcome. That's why the masked wolf is chasing him. And since his close calls aren't enough he will need to die for peace to come.
Mystreet Aaron did die but he's not dead. Which is why I think he's gonna get chased until he stays dead. Aphmau is a part of a god which is why I think she'll have to choose godhood to not just save Aaron but the universe because the universe is falling apart currently.... but hey that's just a theory-

Honestly I'm can't say I'm surprised catface /aphmau's company uses Ai. I knew before poeple started to realy talk about it because Ai has a look to it that only Ai can do consistently. I just kinda didn't want to think about it until poeple started to really talk about it.
Or the fact Jason had to cut his paycheck to continue paying other people. I had a thought about YouTube changing it algorithm while ago, because a lot big YouTubers right now are getting less and less views. Which that means they aren't making a lot of money.
And not to mention a lot of poeple in the aphmau Fandom do not care for mermaid tales so the viewership gets lower on every video.
I honesty think we're not getting season 7 and 8. They aren't making a lot of money especially with viewership and whatever loyal fans they had at least a quarter are now kinda done with them which just means less viewers.
I personally am upset about they use Ai, I find it upsetting but I'm way more worried about their financial situation (probably because I'm a bit of a parasocial fan) I'm just praying we don't get another when angles fall² situation but with more financial problems and now Ai.
This is gonna get a little complicated but holding with me. Basically personalities and ideals should mostly be kept the same.
Aphmau and Aaron are swapped. Aaron was injured rather brutally in the loss of his village wondering into phoenix drop and lost his memory while Aphmau was revived in a cold wasteland by a mysterious white-haired lady lerking.
Sasha and vylad are swapped. Sasha was a shunned member of her guard and ended up becoming a shadow knight just like vylad and his family but vylad ran away and met nana. He died protecting her the way Sasha died protecting laurance. Sasha brought "irene" back and vylad had his memories altered.
Irene and shad are switched. Instead of everyone turning against shad for the magic he had, they turned on irene. She became "the shadow matron" after centuries of shame and guilt of her actions deciding if the world can't be great full for her blessings they deserved what would come. Shad on the other hand, used the canon to save his daughter (as best he could) and became "shad the destroyer of terror"
Laurance and nana. Laurence when young ran away because he couldn't bear his life after losing his family. No real connection to cadenza sadly. So he set up shop with his wyvern company. He was on the run to keep ungrth safe eventually he becomes a home for all the wyverns except raven who is swapped with ungrth. Nana ended up in metili and was taken in by the lord Joe. Her magic was trained, and she became a guard. Eventually vylad sacrificed himself to save nana and joe leading to his shadow knight statis and nana later saves aaron, leading to her becoming a sk herself.
Garroth and Zane swapped. Zane was probably disowned and in my head was the cause of Aaron's problems still. He took aaron to phoenix drop overwhelmed with guilt. In this is imagine Zane wasn't actively trying to hurt anyone he was just in the wrong place with the wrong cursed amulet looking for help. Aaron doesn't remember this and this is how the betrayal stung the end of session 1 happens. Garroth became lord despite hating the idea, instead of being outright evil he does everything "for the good of O'Khasis". He feels an unbearable responsibility to his home and probably isn't a good lord. Tbh I could go on about this one but I won't.
Aphmau has a grudge against garroth because Sasha did *not* keep it a secret her "shadow matron"(sasha is still a shadow knight and vauge cultist to the sk cause but more of a rebel i this). Garroth wanted to use her power to save O'Khasis from their "doomed path" because let's be real, garroth isn't a good lord. He'd take everything to the extreme.
Dante and gene swap. This one is kinda hard to do- gene is still vaguely evil but not actually. He did a bunch of fucked up shit in his youth bc he thought he could get away with it. Instead of dying tho he panicked and erased the memories of himself and (on accident) dante from the whole village. Dante was destroyed but putting things back ment gene could get in trouble, so he panicked and ran away leaving Dante along. In his grief Dante turned to irene and became a shadow knight while gene wondered to his uncle's eventually ending up in Phoenix drop after helping aaron the same way Dante did. Now gene does *not* end up with two babies. But I dont think Dante does either- kinda. Haven't figured that out yet bc i don't have a Nicole swap (also angst laurgene bc laurance replaces nana? >:3 )

Aphmau and Dante but both of them have the same last name, by pure coincidence.
In my mcd au, Aphmau meet Gene relatively early on in a similar way as in Rebirth, and ends up stuck with him for a little while. A little while in which the name Shalashaska slips. And then this man poofs out of existence, and jump forward to Aphmau meeting Zane for the first time. And oops. She needs a last name. Which she hasn't had before. She hasn't NEEDED one before. And she can't even pull an 'Aphmau of Phoenix Drop'...because Garroth already did it before her/silly So she goes with the first thing that comes to mind. Shalashaska. So she's Lord Aphmau Shalashaska, of Phoenix Drop.. and of course after Donna's and Logan's wedding, Aphmau and Kiki end up at the wetewolf tribe(+ Nicole), where they meet Dante. Now i don't think he finds out immediately. But he does a bit later, the name gets brought up, and he feels his heart sink because he hasn't heard that name in so long. A name that was once his too. Either way they realise they've known the same man(relatively) almost 20 years later so it's chilllll :3
In mystreet it's truly just a coincidence, and when they realise they're just '?!'

Lmaoo so it's actually both the siblings being dhampir. When young, both of their families were killed by vampires very similar to their canon story. They survived the attack thanks to the help of a very young chicken Shaman at the time. He "cured" them, but it really just suppressed the vampire poison and sent them on their marry way.
I think cadenza being older knows more and has a craving for blood. Y'know how she keeps getting kidnapped with people trying to scarface her? Its because shes a more powerful dhampir without even trying. Its all passive.
Both her and Laurence technically have human bodies (they need to eat, sleep, and bathe. They have blood, pain, and pleasure. Can have kids, go outside, and die). So, laurance (who doesn't have blood lust) gives some blood to his sister to help her and shit. This gives him an inside knowledge of vampires and stuff. But mostly, it's to care for his sister.
She on the other had is watching laurance very fucking closely. He also got bit. Has the scar to prove it. But no powers, no blood lust, no red eyes, nothing. But she can taste it in his blood, he's not quite human and she can't tell why.
His vampire stuff is awakened when he turns into a shadow knight.
Now its her chance to help him, he's dead and while can still give blood its nasty as fuck. She on the other hand is still a perfect dhampir and gives him blood while he's blind. She teaches him what powers he has and not to do any more.
I think all of this has a lot of potential for hurt/comfort and tbh this fic is never gonna get written. I'm sorry chat. BUT feel free to take it and make it your own. This also came from my vampire garroth au stuff in my head. Anyone can do whatever they want with this idea just lmk if you wrote something so I can also read it.

Yeah its gonna be a bad one chat lol
So here's we go, phoenix drop is under attack. Lord garte? Tu'la? Northern werewolves? Shad? Unnamed foe? Someone. Levin is their target because he's the lord of course. Its bad, their homes are burning dante has been brought to his knees, aphmau is gone, screams in the air.
Levin is cornered, bleeding from the head, weapon nowhere in sight. He cries for his mom, his guard, then as a blade is raised, he cries for his big brother.
Malachi not 30 feet away lay in a pool of blood, his own? Someone else's? Hard to tell with the death around. Hes alone and hurting and he remembers dying as a child and he feels so small. He wants his mama Zoey. Or his mother, or father laurance. Hell he'd take the cold hug of metal from garroth. He wishes dante was there to tell him what to do, how to survive. Tell him how not to be scared. Malachi thinks about how he'll never see his friends again. He cries as the energy drains from him. He wants his brother, to be by his side. To not be alone. He's so scared of being alone. He wonders if this is how people felt when he used his magicks.
Then he hears the screaming from levin, just across the plaza. He is only able to open his eyes enough to see as he clutches his arm and screams his name.
Malachi couldn't breathe, if he lived and his brother died he'd be truly alone again. That was probably the most terrifying thing he'd ever thought. He'd lose his kid brother, his home, his everything.
The yggdrasil tree burned in the distance.
A scream of pain and fury and fear turned the air so cold the soldiers froze in fear. Ghostly chain flew from the body of a half dead man as he stood to his feet. Hardly a person as his eyes were empty of color and his body turned translucent. He screamed, a cry, fear and rage plummeted every enemy in sight down to their knees as the chains grasped their throats, locking them up to be prisoners of their own mines.
Malachi couldn't feel the ground below him as an old uncontrollably power awoke.
Levin ran to his brother, his calls lost on dead ears. As he ran he collided with malachi, not fully gone as his body was physical enough for levin to wrap his arms around. Malachi collapsed into his arms, the surge of magic gone and his vision went black.
Half the enemies died in that plaza from heart attacks, the others were left completely impaired for weeks after.
Malachi was kept alive by levin and healed when Zoey found them.
But a new problem, that is he doesn't feel alive. His heart doesn't beat, and Laurence can smell the dead soul on the boy he cared for just like the dead smell of shadow knights.
