Okay okay just a little more for now
Corinth's first appearance in AaSA was actually way later than you'd expect, she doesn't appear until AFTER the Athenian campaign to Egypt in what would have been chapter 5 of AaSA. Initially I had drawn her as a blank circle (labeled as "still Corinth" and "also Corinth") and went back and filled her in after I'd summarised the rest of the page.
This uhhhh text is so wildly different from how I approach it now and it truly is the measure of who I was twelve years ago (I was still a teenager!!) and how far my education has come since then and it's going to take me some time to poke through it and understand what the author (me) was getting at and whether she (I) achieved it will require further study.
Click fore better quality!
Note: the series was inspired by @athensandspartaadventures by Hapo (@allbeendonebefore ) and has no intention to insult you, rather to entertain you. Without further ado, enjoy!
Big inspiration from @allbeendonebefore . The designs for Corinth based from her work!
So, a few notes to better understand the humor in this page:
Euro (ā¬) is the currency we use. For non-European readers (and Europeans who belong in the European Union, but don't use ā¬), 1⬠= 1,08$.
Quite many Greek series and movies often depict us Greeks selling souvenirs to foreign tourists (we understand they're not from Greece from the fact they speak English) in a ridiculous high price. The reason for that, you may ask? Well, foreign tourists (especially the ones from North Europe and North America) are rich and we Greeks are currently dealing with an economic crisis, so we need their money. If you want a lower price, show some respect for Greek culture, maybe try to say a few Greek sentences (in Modern Greek, not Ancient, there's a key difference). It will still be a bit expensive, but not that expensive. And if you want that souvenir in it's original price, try becoming friends with the shop owner. Once they like you, they'll be open towards you (thankfully, we Greeks pride ourselves as being warm and friendly people and we strive to live to that positive stereotype).
For @athensandspartaadventures readers, I imagine Corinth still being into a merchant job or something, so that's why I had her working as a shop runner.
If I was wrong about something or confused you, plz tell me and I will keep that in my mind or help you.
Thanks for reading my post and have a lovely day (or a lovely night). Bye! š

Or, How the Lydians and Milesians Became BFFs
Time to dredge up some OCs I rarely draw lol
So once upon a time the Lydians who you may remember from such fun and exciting hits as āgood at horse warfareā and āinvented coinageā decided to siege Miletus, and this siege took a few generations of their kings.
The plan was to leave buildings and homes untouched and torch all the crops and trees so that every year just before harvest the Milesians would be demoralized enough to consider surrendering. Lydia was playing the long game.
This went on for 11 years and Miletus didnāt receive help from any of the other Ionian Greeks (save for one bit theyād helped out earlier in a different war).
@kalli-pygos its ya girl thinking about swearing off men for good

Thrasybulus of Miletus: The wheat-stalk-removing tyrant in question, as the anecdote was recorded by Herodotus (5.92f).
Periander: The second tyrant of Corinth and one of the Seven Sages, credited with making Corinth prosperous in the 7th/6th century BCE. Weāre not sure if heās a fair and just dude or a wicked nasty dude, but Herodotus seems to think he took a cue from our friend Thrasybulus above.Ā
