An excerpt from a feminist piece I wrote. I often feel the need to explain my feminist stance but I think it’s up to others to educate themselves and understand that feminism and radical feminism are not the same. Radical feminists might think all men are potential rapists. Other feminists, like me, think consent is a huge issue, often poorly handled, but that it’s not as simple as some men’s disregard for women.
