"Hearts not parts" was originally a bisexual slogan. It was used to combat the stigma around bisexuality—that we were dirty, cheaters, genital-obsessed, overly sexual, perverted freaks. Pansexuals took it and have used it as a terrible way to attempt to differentiate themselves from us which only continues this stigma. They imply that they care about hearts while we care about parts.

Remember why this was started and now look at what it's being used for. I am not okay with this. We are taking it back.

Here’s some updated opinions~

•Pan and Bi people can have the same experiences, but Pan much more closely defines certain experiences and usually a different form of attraction entirely.

•Pan, Poly, and Omni are all valid. They can function as synonymous to Bi but they are still valid.

•All people attracted to multiple genders should be considered in roughly the same community, just that these certain identities experience nuanaced differences. (I prefer using Bi+ as to me it sounds more “professional” but that might be from studying business etiquette 😂).

•Anti-Pan people have inherently harmful beliefs. Being critical of Bi+ communities however, isn’t -phobic.

•Anti-Pan people are really only anti-Pan to due different and often inaccurate views on how attraction and nuances work or that things can overlap and some people feel that they are a certain label due to its specific nuances.

Please don’t use the “it includes trans people” or “Bi is exclusively two gender attraction”!
