#bisexual visibility

happy late prideeeee🤍 is it a safe space for me to say that it still boggles me how bisexuality isn’t the assumed norm in society??? because as a proclaimed lover of all myself, i reel at the fact that on the spectrum of sexuality, wouldn’t it make more sense that people are attracted to everyone first, before pigeonholing someone as hetero? and this is not to say that normative thinking at all is harmful but idk! im just thinking these thoughts again as every year it seems inside, and out, of the community, bi erasure runs rampant. unfortunately during this month especially. ie. people don’t believe it could be possible for men to bi as opposed to women (which is more of a discussion into the patriarchy but) or people thinking that being bi is just you being a whore/in a phase (which is ALSO a further discussion into the patriarchy) like guys! humans are so beautiful it seems almost natural that your attraction isn’t limited to one binary! :( i mean this from a place of care, bisexual hate is so common and i find it troublesome that it’s something glossed over again and again…
