But if the only pieces we are given is that she initiated her and Lucifer's separation by leaving then.. Yeah people are gonna fucking say that.

A lot of radioapple antis are casual misogynists who think that a woman voluntarily leaving her marriage is the worst thing she could morally do, so when you point out that’s what she canonically did in the show (as far as we’re aware) they see it as insulting her character because they perceive it as an insult.
It’s why they’re so attached to theories of Lilith being forced into going to Heaven, not out of a belief that it’ll make the plot more interesting but because they think it absolves her of the sin of leaving her husband. I’m of the opinion that if she did leave of her own accord than good for her, she doesn’t need to stay married to a man she’s not interested in anymore. Marriage is not an eternal obligation. She can end that shit at any time and it doesn’t make her a bad person.
