everytime you post a new chrollo thing i always go "oh nooooo, he's gonna be rotating inside that giant microwave i call my head. damn you, lock!!!" LMAO but anyway,,, i enjoyed "a deal's a deal" a lot!! there's something so delicious abt a reader who has always known chrollo is full of shit from the start but is still so helpless against him. something something the person who understands you the most in your time of need being someone you despise. chrollo being an enigma as always, however i do love that small glimpse of hunger we see from him. kinda going insane over that ngl.

i enjoyed writing for chrollo again 🥺 the main concept i wanted to play around with was a reader who is vaguely familiar with nen. i think it’d be a very isolating experience for a civilian to develop an ability while not knowing the nuances of it, which is a prime situation for chrollo to exploit.
reader being able to detect if chrollo is lying adds an extra challenge for him, but he doesn’t have much difficulty maneuvering around it 😭 if anything, it helped him gain reader’s trust even more since he was never technically ‘dishonest.’
