It’s time for Answer Sunday!

This Question Wednesday has been undoubtedly the most productive one so far, I’ve been so beyond excited to be getting these music recs and it’s so lovely and special to be able to share them. 

That said, lets get into the responses on the post!

@rainwindandstars​ , this is such a really weird and interesting song, thank you for the rec! It’s definitely not the type of music that I myself listen to, but I’m honestly so glad that nonbinary rep is present in wide range of musical styles. How much would it suck to only have a single genre of music represent a huge culture of people? Hooray for the musical diversity, and I hope this song is something a follower might love :)

David Bowie is an eternal idol, and due to me not living my best life I have somehow not listened to these songs so I remedied that immediately and hoo lemme tell you. I wish people from my parent’s generation talked more about the gender non-conformity of the icons of this era, because these are such wonderful ‘fuck you gender’ songs. This song made me feel so many emotions and genuinely made me tear up a little bit. I read Eyemèr’s comment on their own video about coming out and I would recommend checking it out.

I love finding ways to queer popular music, sometimes it’s really easy, sometimes it a stretch, but it’s always a fun and vaguely rebellious little thing to do.

I looked up some of their music and I am a new fan of theirs, here’s one of my favorite songs I’ve listened to so far! 

Also Welcome to Nightvale is amazing for inclusivity they’ve always done a great job and I love the show. 

This is a great recommendation!! I had never heard his music before and this song is a straight up boogie. It's got almost a motown feel, it's so enjoyable and fun! 

It's also a bit discreet without mentioning anything explicity nonbinary which I kinda love because not only is it a safe song to jam out to around other even if you're not out, but it can be uplifting and lovely for all sorts of people. Thanks for sending this in!
