Star-Crossed UPDATE!
Droplets of water fell to the stone floor in a puddle before he carelessly slung it over a few warm boulders to dry off. Seriously, what was her problem? She’s seen him half-naked already, it’s not like he was going to completely drop trowl and sleep in the nude or anything, though he might feel better if he did because the tightness in his pants was killing him.
“Seriously, can't you cover up or something?!”
“Why?” He scoffed as he started to remove his leather boots, in which more rain water fell out of them. “It’s nothing you haven’t already seen before. What’s the big issue?”
"The big issue--the big---you are my enemy?! That's the big issue!" Rey snapped in a harsh tone; though she didn't want to admit it out loud that she had been secretly looking at him from the small gaps when she had covered her eyes.
He looked just as she remembered during that rather unexpected force-bond session back on Ahch-To.
"You didn't seem to mind all that much--"
"Don't EVEN go there, Ren!" said Rey; seething as she curled up on the floor; turning her back to him.
"You don't have to be embarrassed by it." He went on to add as he placed another log into the fire pit; strengthening the flames and producing more heat. "I mean, at least, I don't think you should be. I've seen the way you look at me."
Okay, now he was just being a cheeky-bastard. Rolling over she glared at him and saw he just sat there; twiddling with the fire and smirking like the world's biggest prat!
"Wipe that smirk off your face, Ren, or I will, I promise, finish what I started out there on the ruins of that Death Star!"
Chuckling, Kylo stopped teasing her and chuckled quietly to himself. Rey rolled back over and tried to concentrate on something else other than him; the wall, the rain, the thunder and lightning but damn it, if his presence and thoughts weren't do damn loud.
Then she saw it---a vision. Almost like the one she had back on the island, only this one was a bit more...intense.....sensual.....and most un-Jedi like!
Their naked flesh colliding and the regurgitating sounds of moans immediately began filling her ears and the whole of the cave itself. He had her flat on her back he moved so delicately between her legs; thrusting into the depths of her heated core, over and over, and over again.
Only this wasn't the Supreme Leader's eyes she was looking into....it was Ben Solo's....her soulmate, her equal in the Force......her lover.
"Ben....."
"Fuck---Rey, you feel so amazing!" He grunted; pinning her arms down on either side of her head while he continued his relentless pace; pounding into her against the blanket he had laid out. Sweat glistening like droplets of water across their bodies as the fire danced wildly next to them. "I could stay buried in you forever! I love you!"
"Ben....I can't.....Ben....I'm going to...."
"Cum for, Rey!" Ben hissed; burying his face into the crook of her head. "I want to feel you fall apart around me!"
A flash of white and Rey snapped her eyes open and immediately rolled onto her back; staring up at the ceiling of the cave....speechless. Holy MAKER!
"You saw it too, didn't you?"
"I-I have no idea what you're talking about." said Rey, defiantly. "I saw nothing!"
"Don't play stupid with me, Jedi." Kylo growled hotly; his knuckles turning white as she continued to deny the bond between them. Now, he had seen it had gone a step further. "You tend to forget we are bound together in ways others cannot understand. I know what you saw!"
"And I'm telling you---" said Rey now getting to her feet. "---that I saw nothing!"
"Hmmf!" Kylo scoffed darkly in her direction. He didn't believe her, not for a single second. That vision was too real, too close to comfort and he knew....they knew....it was a vision of what was surely to come. The night was long, and they had plenty of time to make things....well....right between them.
"This storm really needs to get a move on." said Rey standing at the mouth of the cave.
"Why, have you got something better to do with your time?" Kylo asked; folding his arms. "Running back to your precious Resistance--those traitors and thieves, you call friends?"
"Do NOT insult my friends!" Rey shouted; rounding on him. Her hand landing on the hilt of her saber.
"A cave is not an ideal place for battle, Jedi." said Kylo sarcastically. "You would loose anyway."
"And what gives you that impression? Is it because I'm a girl or because you're scared that I could kick your ass again!"
This bickering, as unnecessary as it was, was a real turn on for Kylo Ren. God, why couldn't she see just how amazing they could be together? The galaxy would not dare oppose them, if he had her as his Empress. We could rule together with an iron fist! But the then remembered, Rey was no more interested in ruling with him than she was being with him.
He had made sure of that on his own. She didn't want Kylo Ren. She wanted....Ben Solo.
"Someday you will realize that you were wrong not to join me, Rey, that your efforts to keep the Resistance alive would have been worthless. You could have had everything!"
"I do have everything!" She retorted.
"Yes, because the Resistance is the perfect example of a well thought-out family to a girl who is seeking her belonging! You don't think those people don't hold you to the highest regard, that the second they find out we are connected, they won't hesitate to throw you out like trash!"
Tears formed in her eyes as the harshness of his words hit her like a ton of boulders. He was wrong---the Resistance was her family.
She trusted them with everything she had and though they had, at times, addressed it was her duty as the Last Jedi to give the people of the galaxy the hope they longed for, she felt she was in better hands with them than she could ever have been with Kylo Ren and the First Order.
"You are their poster girl, the one who entrust their future too and if you fail, in which, you will---"
"STOP!" said Rey; now pulling her saber off her belt and igniting it. "IF YOU ARE SO DAMN DETERMINED TO FINISH ME, THEN DO IT, END ME RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW!"
"I don't want to finish you, Rey. I want to be with you!"
"As Supreme Leader and his pet!" Rey bellowed.
"I was thinking more along the lines of Supreme Leader and his Empress--you are worth more than some measly apprenticeship. I value you more than that!"
