Earlier today AnonCentral, posted this video, with the comments shown below:
I reblogged the post, because I do admire Anonymous for most of their work, and I'm appalled at this form of animal abuse, but I was also simultaneously appalled at the use of "beaner," and added how that was a racist term and to take it elsewhere. AnonCentral updated their post:
Now, I was the only one who had called them out on using the b-word at the time, so this note was presumably directed towards me. Even if it was copied from a message board, the message would've been the same if the racist part was left out. But instead, because the original had the word, and no care was taken to ensure that others who saw the post knew the message was copied, it's okay to still use the word.
While I know that AnonCentral in no way represents all of Anonymous, I'm disgusted by this certain user's use of racist/homophobic slurs. Seriously? You're supposed to be helping the world, yet you turn around and pull this shit?

I will not let injustice stand.
I just finished reading this post toudou.tumblr.com/post/16690927913/my-fellow-tumblrers and I did not see the future. I can't believe people would be that insensitive to how others live today. Most people live off the internet. Copyrighted material? What do you release it for if it's not for the public? By doing this, they're limiting their audience to the few people who can afford to support them. Posting is another way of showing support. The reason people are even supporting them is because they found out about this stuff FROM THE INTERNET.
United we are strong. Please unite for our right to keep living our lives.
