They’re based on an albino axolotl, and they’re dedicated to the study of limb regeneration (because this is a special trait of axolotls!) on the anniver homeworld-
Specifically, they’re trying to help improve civilisation by allowing annivers to regenerate lost tails and tail segments! These are important in reproduction and they can usually only grow one segment per anniver year, so losing them to accident or disease could be potentially devastating. This anniver is 22 years old, but has dedicated 4 segments to scientific study, leaving them with 18 segments/stripes on their tail!

They asked for a poison dart frog theme, so I hope this fits the bill<3 They’re based on a particular species of dart frog that has bright blue extremities, and to fit the frog theme, unlike a lot of other Annivers who like sunshine and brightness, this little one adores the rainy days instead. They’re so positive about it though that nobody around them can stay glum for long. c:
