I was reading the Other page for characters and...

It's interesting how much TV tropes blames Dura for Annih's downfall, and how it tries to make Annih more...sympathetic? Especially since, you know, Dura died because of Annih.

I still don’t get it. Memory is Orpheus’ childhood friend right? And who is Alice? I read wiki and it saids that Orpheus has a wife and a daughter. Who is Memory actually??

the wiki isn't that reliable esp in orpheus's case, because they take the surface-level information given and don't look deeper into the subtext. during TOR, orpheus (when he was still novelist) drank something that "rebuilded" his memory that he'd forgotten because of the trauma from the manor games, which was that he was married to alice and had a kid, who was memory. The person who gave him that drink is implied to be nightmare

But if you look at Nightmare's background video, you learn that isn't really the case. It shows a photo of Alice and Memory together as a family, but then at the end, it revealed that Orpheus knew memory when they were both still kids.

and also, memory isn't a real person.  the "Memory-The Girl"  animation shows her disintegrating into dust as soon as Novelist passes out in the fire.

even in their relations page, they never explicitly say that memory *was* Orpheus's kid, just that that's "how he remembers her" and we know that memory isn't that reliable especially if nightmare is part of the equation and can manipulate it with drugs. Also that idv doesn't really call Orpheus her father, but acting protective over her as part of the "father" persona. if he was just her dad they wouldve made that less convoluted sounding.

I have been...busy.

We went on holiday, we’ve moved house so we’re still in the middle of all that, we’ve got appointments nearly daily of getting quotes for said house, and to finish it off, we’ve only just got wifi and I need to catch up on some uni type work, and to top it off I woke up sick today.
