Sometimes the best thing that happens in a day is that you learn about something like the Harpy Eagle, one of the largest Eagles still around, luckily not here but in South America Think of a hawk with a wingspan of 5 ft 9 in to 7 ft 4 in, just one claw can enclose my entire hand and he’s huge! Not heavy, but much larger than we’re used to. He’s standing on a log, if I braved sitting next to to him for a selfie, he’d be taller than I. .
