We rescued melo, he was “bingo”’at the time from the @theanimalfoundation two years ago, so rescuing animals and working with the shelters is very near & dear to our heart & now we just want to rescue them all! Hopefully one day soon we’ll be able to bring Melo home a sister! . I’m a big believer in the healing power of pets. If you’ve ever rescued an animal, you know it’s really a toss-up as to who was truly rescued: you or the animal. 🐾 I know for me, Melo truly was a blessing in disguise. When we went to the shelter that day, we had no intention on bringing a dog home. But something called me to say, Alex.. we have to get that dog out (bingo). He has opened my eyes to so many things I didn't even realize were going on. He has brought us closer as a family, and brings so much love and joy every single day. I am so grateful we had the opportunity to rescue Melo at the Animal Foundation two years ago.
