Quick write up on parts.
When I refer to parts, it's different from how parts and alters are referred to in most online DID spaces. A part is how I communicate when I need certain accommodations due to a flashback I may be having in that moment. each part may have a shifting sense of self and memory is not necessarily always the same for each part. Amnesia is complex and one part may remember a lot one day and very little the next.
It is likely I don't fully recall some parts. This list is not meant to be comprehensive. It includes parts that have tagged themselves on this blog. Some parts have sideblogs and I'd be happy to share them with anyone who asks.
NaN- experiences psychosis and holds ostracization trauma.
Vess-experience negative symptoms and an empty sense of self.
Spade- Often deals with sex drive, kinks, self harm, and sex-related flashbacks.
Missy- something related to guilt, sex, and cults
Anaïs/Poe- a part that handles noise sensitivity and meltdowns. May age regress. (I am more visibly autistic than other alters and self identify as autistic.)
Sylvie- selectively mute.
Worn- something related to religion
Lain- unreality and lack of self identity or stability with sense of self.
I may be wrong about how parts function. The nature of amnesia means I can't know everything. My understanding of dissociation will change with time and as it does how I refer to parts will as well.
