Some might've noticed it. Some might have not. The dramatic shift from a polar bear to a duck. You might ask: How the fuck? Just be both? Or: How's that even possible?
I'll explain:
For the longest time of my life, I've been questioning different animals over and over. I am a contherian, so I am always shifted. That makes the border between human and animal vanish quickly. Weird feelings appear. Such as my weird feet that I couldn't pinpoint the whole time. I thought dog, I thought monkey or ape, I thought lemur or maybe just massive bear paws.
You were so confident in the bear. What happened?
I love bears. I love them so much. They're massive, friend shaped, absolutely stunning in their behaviour. But that's it. I love them to the dearest. Just like my granny loved pigeons. Oh, dear granny, rest well. ♡
I love many animals, and if I were to say I identified as a tiger, I'd be confident in that one, too. I love them for the simple fact my mom is one.
Why not being both, a polar bear and a duck?
I've tried on the label of shapeshifter, and I've tried on the label polytherian, and both just don't make me feel like that's it. But if I think about being one single animal, then there's this unexplainable feeling to it. I wish I was a polytherian, because that would make things a little simpler for me. But it ain't it.
And now? Why the duck?
I repeatedly dream of myself as a duck. Doesn't matter, if I am just chilling as one, being hunted (yea, this happens, too), talking to other ducks or whatnot. It happens again and again and again. My researches that I am doing about ducks right now seem to underline that perception. Then my weird feet and my urge to fly... oh, well. I could've come up with that one earlier because even my past life memories would suit a duck.
You don't have to believe me, you don't have to agree with me. But please be patient with me. I am trying my best to find out who I truly am. But as for the newest findings: I am Patka, a duck. INFP, 6w5, 629, phlegmatic-melancholic. Nice to meet you.

So, we are NOT boycotting glitch or gooseworx for literally making indie animation HISTORY, right????? If you’re so mad that it’s not coming to a theater near you then CALL YOUR THEATERS??? That’s what Mexico did and now it’s going to be showing in some of their theaters. Oh and spoilers? 1) That would not glitch’s or gooseworx’s fault, that would be the fans if they choose to be disrespectful to others who haven’t seen it yet, and 2) You can handle lowering your social media use if avoiding spoilers is so important.
This is the first time in history an indie series made on Youtube has made into theaters in multiple different countries! That is so incredibly exciting!!!! Stop bitching about how it’s not in your theater and pick up the phone and make it be in your theater!!!

I did see the finale in theaters and it was absolutely AMAZING, pun intended. I loved it but I won’t say anything else as to not spoil.
I still stand by what I said in this post, but I do not support gooseworx as a person. I think there were things they did right and wrong on social media, but some of their posts are very insensitive and wrong. I also think the controversies were handled poorly by the individuals involved, by Glitch, and by racist ignorant individuals in the fandom.
As a white person who was raised in a white supremacist society, I still have a lot to learn and deconstruct. I don’t know everything, and there are many issues I am still working to fully understand. But I do know this:
Joking about racism or sexism in a way that minimizes it and its effects on people is wrong. Being racist or sexist as part of your “edgy humor” is wrong. Defending racist or sexist acts is wrong. Do better.
