Let me start by saying that I'm not a linguistic expert by any means, so the word is mostly made up without reference iirc. 😅 "Roshun" was mainly created out of a desire to have a meaningful term of endearment that isn't an exact replica of siha. Since Thane’s religion and spirituality is important to him, I still wanted to keep that element to create a term. Hence, why I chose Amonkira as a starting point to suit Garrus' role in Thane’s life, since Amonkira is Lord of Hunters and the one that Thane prays to before a fight/battle. Instead of an angel, I figured that Amonkira's most devoted followers, priests, and priestesses would be the warriors of the highest caliber. High praise, when said to friend, significant other, and/or loved one. Especially when that loved one is Garrus Vakarian.
