Hey :) If you still look for requests, would you mind writing something about Loki based on the song "Nevermore" by Queen? I haven´t read many fanfictions by you so far, but all I did read is really good :)
Loki staggered back a step, a flash of betrayal showing on his face before he replaced it with the mask of indifference you were all too used to. “You don’t love me anymore?”
You glanced away, swallowing. “Maybe I never did. How can I trust my feelings around you when I know all you do is lie and play games with your magic--”
“You never did,” Loki snarled, making you flinch. “No, if you loved me, you would not doubt it. If it was real, there would be no question. Your doubt and mistrust may be the biggest deceit of all, my dear.”
You had to bite your tongue to keep from screaming back at him. To stop yourself from denying that it was never anything but pure, painful love. No tricks. Instead, you clenched your jaw and nodded once. “Making me think you loved me too, that was the biggest lie.”
It was silent, and when you looked back at Loki, he was already gone.
Thor occasionally mentioned his brother in passing, mainly in grumblings about terror and mischief in Asgard at the Dark Prince’s hand. Apparently, he was making everyone who crossed his path miserable. You recognized the sentiment; you, too, had felt nothing but emptiness since he left.
But at the end of the day, as you crumbled yet another note you wrote to him, you realized that even if Thor agreed to give it to him, Loki would not read it.
He didn’t fight for you.
He didn’t tell you he loved you, not once.
At the first sign of trouble, he left and never turned back.
