Angela sees this unfold before her eyes which really stresses her out. She really doesn’t want him to die, like absolutely hates the thought of her dad dying so soon like this. It hurts her to see him grow old so fast. She’ll do anything to not see him die. She gets impulsive and impatient when she’s upset. So she decides to try and plan a sneak attack on the Krang with other resistance members she gathered. She hasn’t told Casey, Mikey, or, Leo. Knowing that they wouldn’t let her do it. While resting, Mikey senses something is wrong with Angie and asks around in a panic if anyone saw her. They both were having an argument beforehand about attacking the Krang head on, which Mikey strongly advised her not to. Anyway she underestimated how difficult this was, she assumed that with her training she’d be able to take down the mother ship but actually isn’t able to, as a result putting the members she recruited in danger along with the whole resistance. As a last ditch attempt she uses her mystics to save the others, though she herself is the only one who didn’t make it.
