Ok so I'm here with my Lakshman x Angad bromance propaganda (your V and Hanu propaganda inspired me lol)
Some headcanons
— They first meet in Kishkindha after Ram killed Vali.
— They didn't liked eachother at first and avoided eachother, because Angad was kinda still grasping his father's death and Lakshman didn't trust him enough could he was well Vali's son.
— But after sometimes they started to warm up with eachother because of their similar sassy personality.
— And they became absolutely inseparable when the ‘Mission: Search for Sita’ started
— Angad being younger is often babied by Lakshman, because babying him reminds Lakshman of Shatrughan and it makes him kinda happy and warm to have someone like his twin after so many years living in forest.
— They both loves to gossip about the war and how big of a fool Ravan is.
— Lalshman stoic and angry young man nature only doesn't work on front of some people, and Angad is one one them. They are both crackheads together.
— They'd often stay awake (and if you go by the Lakshman never slept then awake for all night) and talk about different things to eachother.
— This was the first time Lakshman properly opened up and talked about his father's death to someone other than his brothers all those years ago.
— Both of them talked about their feelings on their father's death and how they felt about it. (Lakshman cried and it was the first time he ever cried before someone other than his family)
— They both were sceptical of Vibhishan at first but later started to respect him more.
— Lakshman found it absolutely hilarious when Angad had went to Ravan's court just before the war and disrespected the shit out of him. He was so proud he almost cried.
— Angad was heartbroken and silently panicking when Lakshman was injured. He was worried and hugged Lakshman tightly the next day. (IT WAS THEIR FIRST BIG HUG)
— After the war and everything, when the trio were returning to Ayodhya. Angad was heartbroken that he'd loose his bestie and won't see him regularly but also happy that he'd finally go home.
Can't think of anything else right now so yeah take this :D
GURLLLLLL
OMG NOW IM INVESTED (also so sorry it took me so long to answer haha im buried in classes and assignments lol)
Also I imagine Angad trying to stay awake for as much as possible to give Lakshman company but the latter is like "Bro if you don't sleep Imma shoot you!"
Also gossipping about Ravan is SO real HSJDFSJDF and thats when V joins them too I like to imagine XD
Also Laksh having a proud brother moment after Angad's diss at Ravan is canon 100%

SECOND GENERATION OF AYODHYA COUSINS HEADCANONS part 1
Ok yeah I'm here with my headcanons and stuff because why are you all sleeping on the second generation of Ayodhya cousins?!?! Like damn people get up
Also this is part 1 and will be more focused on the early times and their relationships with their aunts and uncles
BIRTH ORDER:
Luv Kush (twins) → the oldest
Subahu → born 5 months after Luv Kush
Taksh → within a year after Luv Kush and Subahu were born
Angad and Shatrughati → 2 years after Subahu was born, they are both of similar age. Having a difference of only two months between their births
Chandraketu → only a year apart from Angad
Pushkal → exactly 6 months from after Chandraketu was born making him the youngest of the bunch
Now for the headcanons and for less confusion I am putting who is who's kid because I myself forgot the names sometimes 😭😭
Luv and Kush – sons of Ram and Sita
— They are the avatars of Bala and Utsaha (LakahmiNarayan's actual kids and my dearies)
Luv is Bala's avatar, Kush is Utsaha's avatar
— Born in Vanvas and weren't present in Ayodhya till they were older so they take more time to become friendly with the other cousins
— looks like the perfect mixture of their parents with skin colour and eyes like of Ram and other facial features of Sita
— Luv is more quite and a believes in punching, while Kush is the over excited younger one who also believes in punching but won't punch you without arguing.
— After they come to Ayodhya, they become the closest to Urmila and Shatrughan.
— Both of them had lot's of trouble to get used ro the palace life .
And when they spent nights awake not feeling well, missing Sita and or unable to sleep Urmila and Shatrughan were the ones other than Ram, who comforted them in an instance with stories and lullabies.
Taksh and Pushkal – sons of Bharat and Mandavi
— Taksh is the most notorious of the bunch. He is the most hyper and mischievous. He loves to question everything and anything.
— Since he had started to talk, he'd everyday crawl up to Ram's lap after the court sessions ends and ask him a ton of questions starting from the moustache of some ministers to why the sun sets.
Ram loves to answers all his questions and is always amazing by how he always comes up with such unique questions.
— Taksh takes his looks from his mother. They look too similar.
While Pushkal looks like his father with chubby cheeks and sharp eyes that he got from Keykeyi.
— Pushkal is the baby of the bunch and gets pampered by everyone for that. He gets everyone's attention but he is quite and just wants to be left alone most of the time.
— Pushkal is the closest to Shrutakirti out of all his uncles and aunties. They both do gardening together and both of them looks to eat sweets.
Angad and Chandraketu – sons of Lakshman and Urmila
— Angad is the carbon copy of his uncle Shatrughan in nature. He loves to dance with Shatrughan.
— But due to being named after Angad the Vanar. His favourite uncle is also Angad. (Shatrughan and Angad both argue over who's Chhota Angad's favourite uncle)
— Angad and Shatrughati even though are born the closest and grew up the most similar in age don't get along.
They are always bickering and fighting with eachother. Only on rare occasions are the seen being friendly and brotherly with eachother.
— Chandraketu is absolutely attached to Urmila. He is always with her whenever she goes and whatever she does.
But he looks like the second Lakshman.
— Chandraketu the biggest rambler. He is always chattering with everyone and anyone. He makes friends in an second.
This is also the reason why he gets along with Dhruv (Angad's son) the most as he's a listening and is always ready to listen the endless rambles.
— Don't tell Angad but Chandraketu is Sumitra's favourite
Subahu and Shatrughati – sons of Shatrughan and Shrutakirti
— Subahu being born the first in the family (because Luv Kush weren't there) was the most pampered one before.
— He took his role as older brother the best and loves to show his authority to his younger brother and cousins.
— Even after Luv Kush came to Ayodhya, Subahu was still the most sought out to by the adults for responsibilities. He is always eager to help out everyone with everything.
— Shatrughati is the most hot tempered one. Sometimes people even compare him with Lakshman. They get along the most because of their similar nature.
— Shatrughati hates being called by his full name and would much rather prefer Shatru.
Which causes a lot of confusion between calling him and calling Shatrughan.
— Angad is the only one who calls him by his full name resulting in most of their arguments.
.
OK IK THIS ARE VERY UNORGANISED AND RANDOM BUT I AM TRYING OK I AM TRYING I PROMISE I WILL COME UP WITH BETTER ONES IN THE FUTURE TOT
And I haven't proof read it too so forgive grammatical errors
But yeah here are some very random headcanons....
@krishna-priyatama here you'll like this very much, @prettykittytanjiro how can I make a post about anything Ramayan and not tag you, @h0bg0blin-meat because I'll throw my propaganda at you and every other Ramayan enthusiastic here
The best part of being a child, Bharat thinks later, was that no one expected him to do anything. The firstborn is the hope of the kingdom; the second son free to do exactly as he pleased. Rama shielding him even then, he realizes later, from dangers he didn’t even know of.
eating
Bharat is praised and petted by his mothers for eating the more obscure and elaborate foods that his brothers won’t touch: but it’s honestly only because he wants to satisfy his curiosity.
dream
As a boy, randomly fantasizes about running away and living on his wits/supporting himself by his artwork--a week at Nandigram is sufficient to show him how very much he depends on the comforts of the palace.
bedroom
Incredibly and absolutely messy: the maidservants refuse to clean there anymore.
music
He doesn’t enjoy it as much as his brothers do, as, even when it is not at all noisily played, it tends to distract him; he much prefers silence.
fears
He watched a stable boy get savaged by one of his father’s angry stallions (when he’d snuck out alone, meaning he could never confess to it) -- and since then, no matter how experienced he is in riding and driving horses, maintains a healthy....wariness of them.
Urmila
childhood
Her sister is the miracle, and Urmila its afterthought: she ought to be jealous, she suppose, but instead she only brags to all who will hear of how she, Urmila, is the one Sita loves best in all the world.
eating
She loves pickles, as much as Sita hates them (”So much work,” her sister sniffs, “and for something that doesn’t even taste natural!”) and slips them, subtly, off Sita’s plate every time.
dream
Even after she returns from Nidra Devi’s service, Urmila never makes much of the contents of her dreams: some of them might be foretellings, true, but all too well Urmila knows how they can be mistaken or misinterpreted.
bedroom
The greatest shock is opening her eyes for the first time in fourteen years and realizing she no longer recognizes her own bedroom.
music
Urmila likes flutes and gentle woodwinds; they remind her of the instruments the farmers used to play in her childhood home.
fears
Urmila hates the darkness: always has, and always will.
Kaikeyi
childhood
Her father prefers not to be reminded of her mother, and so when the lonely Kaikeyi dresses and explores and learns to fight, alongside her brothers, he is pleased to see her looking nothing alike. It is Manthara who keeps the memory alive within Kaikeyi, Manthara who gives her something to grieve and to love.
eating
Kaikeyi has episodes of-- “worrying,” Sumitra calls it delicately-- when she eats only enough to stay alive and weighs and measures portions against all reason. Perhaps the greatest disservice Ayodhya does Kaikeyi is laugh this off as simply her wanting to stay slim, rather than recognizing it as anything more serious.
dream
She is chasing after something precious (her mother, Dasharatha, Bharat, Rama) who has left her, and though she calls and cries, they never turn around.
bedroom
The most extravagant and expensive decorations cover the floors and walls: Kaikeyi insists on this, though personally she finds them all uncomfortable and unpleasing to the eye.
music
Kaikeyi loves music, and is a great patron of the arts; she has a natural ear to recognize talent, even in the most humble, and sponsors her proteges’ lessons, all the way up to performances in the royal court.
fears
She is terrified of birds: beady eyes, sharp claws, and worst of all, her father’s spies, always ready to tell tales of her mistakes and mischief--
Angad
childhood
As a boy, he thinks himself the luckiest in the world: to be loved by not two, but four sets of parents! Father is strong, and Mother wise, Uncle Sugriva kind, and Aunt Ruma funny--no matter what Angad might need, he can find it in one of them.
eating
Wine is sour on his lips: along among his family, Angad always asks for water to accompany his meals instead.
dream
He wonders, once or twice, what might have been if he’d dared stop Father--if he’d dared speak up--and he forces himself to stop, because to dwell on those dreams only makes his heart hurt.
bedroom
As Crown Prince, his chambers ought to be near his parents’ and Aunt Ruma’s--but it takes only one night of overhearing muffled arguments and sobs for him to insist on being moved back to the children’s wing of the palace.
music
Uncle Sugriva is the musician of the family, and well Angad remembers Father teasing him for it.
fears
Father does not speak of how it was, being shut up in that cave all alone for days: but Angad dreads it enough for both of them.
Vibhishana
childhood
Ravana is the oldest, almost fourteen when Vibhishana is born; and since Father leaves when Vibhishana is barely five years old, he knows no better protector.
eating
He prefers preparing meals to eating them: the pleasure of taste is nothing to seeing happiness on his family’s faces.
dream
He remembers Father now only in his dreams; and it’s with some surprise that he sees that Kubera, out of all of them, resembles him most.
bedroom
His and Sarama’s bedroom is scented with fresh flowers and incense: the one thing Sarama is particular about.
music
Ravana grades the performance of his musicians on their technical expertise, and Vibhishana on the emotions they elicit: it is one of the earliest subjects on which they disagree.
fears
He comes to care for Lanka’s wellbeing only late in life; and he fears this is a fault of his that will cause not only his own damnation, but the kingdom’s.
Sarama
childhood
As much as she loves Lanka, and her husband and daughter, Sarama knows she was never happier than when she was a girl.
eating
She is an enthusiastic eater, and sometimes she jokes that Vibhishana has no other reason to love her so.
dream
Sarama wants to take Kala to see her childhood haunts, but a princess of Lanka invites only danger by roaming too far from home: so say her in-laws, and Sarama subsides.
music
She grows up surrounded by music, and (though she wisely holds her tongue) even Lanka’s finest performers cannot compare to her uncles.
fears
As a baby, Sarama wailed at the thought of being pulled under the waves, and even when older, she dreads drowning no less: so, she thinks bitterly, of course her marriage should draw her towards life on an island.

Also Angad cried when Laksh named his son after him. Like he legit heard and broke down in tears infront of everyone and Shatrughan had to make him sit while everyone comforted him
And Ram was worried that he was offended or something and Laksh was silently panicking (well not silently but full on panicking)
Then when everyone somewhat calmed down (Angad is still crying) Urmila deadass looked at him and went “guys can't y'all see he's crying tears of joy?” and everyone just looked at Angad like “.........” while he nodded and sniffed his nose
Then they hugged and he got to hold Chhota Angad
AWWWWWWW THATS SO SWEET HELLO????
Lakshman had never seen him cry like this before probably so he was like in full panic mode like "Aisa kya hogaya beh-"
Angad trying to act all tough and cool infront of Chhota Angad (im gonna call him chhota Angad or Angad jr. for less confusion) and Lalshman just coming up from behind like “this idiot 🙄” and casually exposing everything while Chhota Angad laughs
HELP XDDDD
Lakshman you DAWG XD
He'd definitely do that and then Angad just bodyslams him and they have a playful fight while Lakshman is just straight up laughing
What House is Angad, canonical and/or MINISTRY!AU?
Canonical Angad is, in my head, very much a Hufflepuff by nature pretending to be a Gryffindor–as much as he tries to downplay it, he does very much take after his uncle, and that is part of why (much to his guilt) he is able to adjust so easily to being Sugriva’s Crown Prince.
Ministry! AU Angad is safely at Hogwarts during most of this, and so shielded from much of the drama. While he’s been updated by letter, he was not directly around Uncle-Sugriva-pretending-to-be-Vali and so doesn’t feel quite so betrayed, and of course isn’t around to witness the tense family dynamics between his parents and Aunt Ruma. That said, he’s far more free to be himself, rather than Official Heir, and so he is a Hufflepuff in this ‘verse.
