So yesterday I read the scrapbook of Joe Broz, a guy in the 27th Aero Squadron in WWI, and boy are there some hilarious incidents. Bless this boy for his attention to detail and mass of photos which really helped my research, but I thought I’d share the ones that made me giggle (I should mention the average age of these guys was 19).

The entire scrapbook is a gem. He gives such a casual and personal look into the lives of the young, young boys in a squadron so famous and with such a tragic history. Here’s the link if anyone’s interested.
