Yo, after the recent AnE chapter I am once again concerned for Shima. I know you've addressed him possibly dying, but I feel like the fact that there was attention brought specifically onto him means that something is gonna happen with him soon. Maybe not dying, but something. Also, I haven't seen any other Shimas on the field yet, so maybe they'll be backup? Idk, I'm very interested in seeing where it goes, cause I'm a Shima fan, haha

Indeed, I have addressed the possibility of Shima dying before, but for now I want to believe he will be doing okay. :))
I wonβt lie, I am worried just like you are, because his role of double agent is clearly not over yet and we have seen before that he didnβt entirely master Yamantakaβs powers, which could prove to be a liability in the upcoming battle. However, Iβm still in favor of his friends and family eventually being there for him. :3
Also I agree that we didnβt see the rest of the Shima family yet, but...
...itβs clear weβll need to see the full details of all the exorcistsβ arrival in the volume version, before knowing for sure whether they are already participating in the battle or not.Β
Please keep in mind that it is also possible that the Shima family stayed to defend the Kyoto branch, especially considering that the Myo Dha sect is the original owner of the sword holding Rinβs demon heart and Iβm thinking thatβs bound to play a role at some point.
TL;DR good luck to Shima. If not his family (although they are my favorite possibility), Iβm sure his friends will be there for him. :))
