I really liked our leacture with Bob this week he showed us this video of Andy Holden in the Tate gallery. I think this work is really great. I think this ties in a lot in what I'm trying to achieve in my work as I am trying to connect with my childhood. I really like how he has produced the piece in this way you can't tell straight away that the rock is made by string. This gives the piece extra dimention and a deeper visual connection as the material used is differnt to what the piece is actually about. Finally, I love how he went back to the place where he took out a piece of the pyramid and documented it; I think I can learn from this and start doing more documentation in my process.
