i genuinely had to noodle on this for a good few minutes because i don't know that i'd ever really thought about it. Kell is very....a lot. proud and flashy and flippant and plain annoying, but i think i'm proud of him when he lets the act drop and just exists in the moment. there's always a lot going on around him and he's definitely the eye of the storm but when he lets himself be vulnerable i'm very proud of him because i know that is difficult for him. and on the flip side i think he's proud of me when i let myself take charge rather than letting someone else lead. when i confidently say what i think rather than posing my thoughts as a question for him or someone else to validate before pushing them further he gets a little sparkle in his eye.

kafka and i are getting up and going to work baybeeee!!! before he finally gets accepted into the JKDF training program he and i had similar routines, leaving our apartments at around the same time. we're not in constant communication all day, our jobs often just dont allow for being glued to our phones but when he goes to lunch he'll send me a little update and I'll also send him my own little update when i eat (also reassurance for him that i did actually eat). I'm usually home later than him, often stopping at his door to see if he wants to come over for dinner (the answer is always yes).
