AKA The five trials and tribulations of Lin Xun dating a Yuan

AKA Teaching Juncheng the value of money

After Yuan Juncheng’s offer to never want for anything again, Lin Xun knew there would always be a bit of a gap between their mentalities about money. He’d overlooked it just a bit when the whole to-do about potentially being half brothers had blown over with negative DNA results. But now the more time Lin Xun spends with Juncheng, the more he realizes Juncheng has a lot to learn about love and the value of the money he spends rather carelessly.

The Five Trials are:

One: Juncheng has no understanding of how produce might go bad (No one buys two months worth of fresh produce in advance)

Two: All Yuans are ridiculously uncompromising (Especially when it comes to the businesses their family owns)

Three: You can’t buy your way out of (most) fights with your boyfriend (All three Yuans have tried)

Four: New is not always better (The attachment of memory shines better than any new object)

Five: It’s not what Juncheng can buy that makes Lin Xun happy (It’s what Juncheng gives without spending a cent)

The first part is done. I’ve gotten distracted by writing EVERYTHING ELSE. Especially that Love With Flaws fic... (And I have some ideas for another one...)

What shows are you currently watching: The Witcher (for the umpteenth time), Prodigal Son (because Tom Payne has eyes that makes my knees weak and a smile that has me quaking)

Tin gets into a fight with his family. Not wanting to forced into obedience, he agrees to Pete’s suggestion to share a modest apartment his acquaintance Can. While Can thought dealing with his sister was frustrating, room sharing with a rich boy who doesn’t know how to do his own laundry is beyond frustrating. 

Originally Pete offered to share apartments with Tin, but that was either before he and Ae got together or before the apartment became a love nest. 

Lots of Tin being a disaster at chores. 

But he also picks them up quickly and ends up better than Can at many of them. 

He gets better because of spite. 

Can starts to fall for Tin when he sees how hard Tin is trying. 

Tin starts off teasing Can for fun but realizes he caught the feels.
