So you know how there are some fanfics where moshang get married but Shang Qinghua has no idea it's happening until the day of even though he's the one who planned it? Imagine something like that, but it's Mobei Jun who doesn't realize they're getting married.

Mobei Jun is going around trying to sabotage his arranged wedding plans, disrupt Shang Qinghua's planning, and so whatever he can to prove to Shang Qinghua that he wants to marry him, not some demon hussy all without realizing HE'S ENGAGED TO SHANG QINGHUA WHO IS ACTIVELY PLANNING THEIR WEDDING!

26. Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride? This is a three-way-tie between The Go Fetch Job because I had to basically write an entire EPISODE of Leverage, the crackfic Headlights and Crossing Signs where Batman accidentally(?) hits Robin with the Batmobile, and As You Wish the Young Justice Princess Bride AU which speaks for itself.

39. Share a snippet from a WIP. This is from the second part of my "Cissie King-Jones finds out she's Oliver Queen's biological daughter" fic that I promise I've been working on for like...a year. Maybe this will motivate me to finish it.

Getting drunk, Cissie decided, wasn’t half as fun as people in TV shows made it out to be. She came upon this realization somewhere between her third drink and throwing up in an unfortunately placed potted plant, and was solidified on the drive home. The car kept moving and despite the empty shopping bag Oliver gave her for emergency puking, a pit stop on the side of the road was necessary to prevent ruining the car’s upholstery. And all that was before she even made it to her bed.

Just for you I'd make the time, so here we go!

Okay so Shen Jiu is deaged to his teens and has no memories and all of Qing Jing are vying for his attention (disciples and hall masters alike, they all want to be liked by Shen Jiu no matter what form he takes), but Shen Jiu finds them all unbearable.

Ning Yinying is clingy and too whiny, Ming Fan is a suck-up bully, the hall masters are CLEARLY interested in him for nefarious purposes, and pretty much everyone else is just annoying, but Luo Binghe the youngest disciple is tolerable and clearly needs someone to protect and guide him through the day-to-day tasks, and Shen Jiu is more than happy to step up.

it's not at all because Luo Binghe reminds him of Qi-ge and calls him "Jiu-ge" with such a happy smile and treats Shen Jiu like he isn't the scum of the earth.

But Shen Jiu picks his favorite and all of Qing Jing are resigned to let it happen because none of them want to ruin their Shizun's de-aged experience, but they all look like they've chugged a gallon of vinegar each whenever Shen Jiu shows Luo Binghe even the slightest smile or hint of praise.

OKAY!!!

The premise is that the fake jade pendant the washer-woman-mother got him wasn't just fake but it was cursed and as a result would bring constant misfortune to whoever wore it and those around them.

Enter Luo Binghe to Qing Jing peak and the cursed token interrupts all of Shen Jiu!Shen Qingqiu's thoughts and resentment toward Luo Binghe because first of all, that thing is CURSED and could probably kill Luo Binghe which is not something Shen Jiu needs added to his rap sheet, and also a small part of Shen Jiu doesn't want to see Luo Binghe's potential crushed by a gift from his mother (enter the thought of, "Oh shoot, did his mother know?")

So Shen Jiu reluctantly becomes the best shizun by actually taking care of his cursed disciple and trying to fix whatever bad luck from the pendant already leeched into Luo Binghe's body.

Just for you, I'll tell you Ming Fan's perspective since I answered this here!

Ming Fan is MAJORLY jealous that his least favorite shidi and the one Shen Qingqiu more or less gave him permission to bully is now Shen Jiu's favorite person, but he doesn't dare do anything to Luo Binghe because he doesn't want to face the look of disgust and disappointment Shen Jiu gives to anyone who so much as looks at Luo Binghe the wrong way.

But Ming Fan is the head disciple and really wants his Shizun's praise, so he tries his best to be nice, do things, and get on Shen Jiu's good side...and none of it works. if anything it makes Shen Jiu more suspicious of him but eventually Shen Jiu uses Ming Fan to run errands. Ming Fan is more than happy to oblige not realizing Shen Jiu is doing that to make Ming Fan leave him alone for a bit.

The Kennerya Trilogy: A complete three part series featuring a Love Bug AU, touch starved Keith, and platonic team Voltron.

through a glass darkly: A complete two part series containing the works point fingers and bladed threats. It's a Reverse Robins story with whump for Tim and Jason.

Thunderstorms: This is part of an incomplete 5 part series pack, but can be read standalone. It's a wolf shifter AU focusing on Tim and his integration into the Wayne pack.

16. How many fic ideas are you nurturing right now? Share one of them? Too many. If we break it down by fandom I have 2 for TGCF, 5ish for Voltron, and 1 crossover for Leverage and The Librarians.

Only God knows how many for Batfam and the DC Comics universe. I don't want to count them.

But because I am foolish and curious myself, I went and counted. In my phone's notes I have 46 Batfam/DC Comics ideas. I have roughly 20-30 more in my tumblr drafts which brings the count up to 66-76. Roughly. There are always the ones floating around in my head and in my notebooks.

Edit: There are 5 Six of Crows ideas I missed during the first count.

25. What fic do you wish you got more of a response on? Oh my goodness I'm so happy you asked! I spent far too long on When a Door Closes, Break Open a Window and was a bit disappointed it didn't get quite as much response as I'd hoped for. It wasn't my first attempt at writing grief, but it was my first try at giving the protagonist a loophole in healing (one where it might be beneficial or it might break him further).

(and not just specifically because it now looks like the strawberry is issuing threats to the desert)

I'm going to answer these, but oh my goodness am I invested in why the strawberry is threatening the desert!

🍓 How did you get into writing fanfiction? Is it bad to say I honestly don't remember? 😅 The best I can remember is a friend and I were looking at Hetalia memes and stumbled upon fanfiction.net. A world of beautiful mistakes and regrets opened its doors

It kind of amazed me that I could make my own stories about characters I already loved and basically play with the characters like dolls and put them into scenarios and machinations of my own devising. And I never stopped.

🔪 What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project? Oh, I have a list because I found most of the topics I've had to research fascinating. These are all from fanfics I haven't finished yet, but the top three that sound weird are probably:

Scars. I have done so much research on this subject from burn scars to lacerations, surgical scars, skin grafts, and my personal favorite, Lichtenburg scars. I needed to know the healing time for a few of them, sensitivity to touch and atmospheric pressure (weather and sudden temperature changes), the likelihood of some scars to fade better than others, and so on. One of my main OCs has burn scarring across his upper back and shoulders and some general nicks and cuts that are visible, which kind of spurred this whole interest.

Sexual intimacy and sensitivity in paraplegics. It sounds so much worse than it is, but it ties into my Oracle Tim fanfic where he uses a wheelchair due to paralysis from the waist down. I fell into a pit of interest when I was looking into things regarding paraplegia and spinal cord injuries and needed to know EVERYTHING I possibly could! This included the different wheelchairs, types of paralysis, occupational therapy, and how the human body is so adaptable and unique. I read something about arousal in one article and suddenly needed to know everything about it. You can probably tell by now that anatomy and physiology is a special interest of mine!

Eels. You know the shrieking eels from The Princess Bride? I started a Young Justice AU (I'm going to finish it I swear) and needed to know about eels. They lay eggs, they do not have testicles, they're carnivorous predators, and I made Superboy fight the eels.
