#n1 makes me so happy!#I love you like the writing style that’s the most important thing #next is the plot and the characters and yes!! these two have been rotating a long while in my head #Kai in particular is my favourite chew toy #he’s my love #everything good in the world #those contrasts are on purpose #because power is neither good nor bad it’s just a tool #and originally when Kai came to me when I was 13/14 #he was a pacifist and he died for it #because he only tried to run - not to fight back #this Kai does fight back but still he loses #but he wouldn’t lose if it wasn’t for Ashe and him choosing to love #so he has the capacity for violence like we all do #but even when he’s forced #he uses his head and chooses #he always chooses #and always knows the consequences of his choices #that’s what power is and I love him for it #and yeah!!!#n3 how well known Kai and Kyriel are is actually something I really want to explore in the canon story too #starting with how Kai gets known to the world #and then Kyriel being obsessed about him and chasing him to the end of the world #I am actually really inspired for the canon story I want to write it so bad #Kai and kyriel #whump writing #story brainstorming #thanks for taking the time to let me know what you like about my babes I appreciate it so much xxx

the other issue i had with the chibnall era that i don't see anyone ever mention is that the editing sucked ass. it was so jarring and awkward. any emotional scene was always ruined by how awkward the cuts were. it was so bad.
