i watched that fyre festival doc and really. its like
this is so absurdly stupid
because see. even without the investor fraud, right, and the fucking over of thousands of employees, of the app and of the island who were never payed and even put into debt. considering these people had the money to pull this off. they would Never be able to make a structure like that in two months. its damn near physically impossible
the original island (that wasnt even pablo escobars island btw it was a lower level mendellin kingpins) didnt even have PLUMBING. they would have to build the ENTIRE structure from the ground up, housing, electricity, running water, food stalls and kitchens to support thousands and the concert structure PLUS organize the actual concert technicals, the line up, the effect each artist would want. im amazed it took these artists until the day of to pull out of it. two months. big festivals, who usually dont have housing structures, can take around a year MINIMUM to plan and prepare. and like this OBVIOUSLY WASNT WOODSTOCK oh my god. people in woodstock were there for a cultural and political moment. here youre promising rich to upper middle class kids luxury vacations with celebrity influencers, and thats what theyll want, and when you dont deliver even a minimally safe or equiped housing... lol.
it should be obvious to anybody who'd think about it for only a minute that this wasn't going to work. it boggles my mind that this even had investors and momentum AT ALL. they had NOTHING but a wildly unrealistic plan and a ridiculously short time frame. even their nice video was just a bunch of models playing on the beach, nothing of the structure, of artists, of anything, and not one investor thought 'kinda weird that this is the advertisement instead of like a fucking moodboard' ????? i do not comprehend this i simply do not

So the irony of me trying to get less time working ends up being working more.
The doctor wants me to help her tutor her for her uni classes and every class she passes I’d get $300 which is g r e a t but really it’s more like me taking the class itself so to waste time doing that now is o o f Then M and I got introduced into a financial program that is a guarantee to help us make money as well as save time down the line which is honestly something I’m still iffy about but the couple looked sincere about it so I can almost assume it’s gonna be a exclusive program like they said. However it’s something we have to take the time to invest in, and eventually we’d need to take classes as well SO really again I’m hoping to god we get to have some good advice to save money or else O O F This whole year is just working and honestly I can’t wait to drop everything to go back to school next year cause I’m just t i r e d

Bad News...
So, sadly i will have to stop Kinktober 2019, because colllege gave me too much work to do this month: A presentation, a questionary to answer, three exams, one research and four internships that will take all my mornings while classes are given in the afternoon. So whenever i come back at home i'm either A) too tired and B) with stuff to work and study.
I'm sorry that i couldn't managed to keep up, but Kinktober will be retaken again in november, when things aren't so busy or chaotic.
